Microbial health is integral to the One Health framework, as the well-being of its various components is closely linked to microorganisms. The microbiomes present in soil play a crucial role in influencing the health of plants, animals, humans, and the environment. To address a significant knowledge gap in One Health research, we are particularly interested in studying degraded soil microbiomes and how targeted soil management practices affect antibiotic resistance in soils.
